BAKED BUBUR KETAN IRENG (GLUTINOUS RICE PUDDING) serve with PANDAN MERINGUE
Look at Hairy Bikers Balinese Rice pudding recipe if you are Brit.. but if you are Indo.. you must have different way to cook Bubur Ketan Ireng..
My Recipe is simple.. add everything (coconut sugar, coconut milk, salt and pandan leaf) in the same time.. and after rice is tender add mix double cream and egg yolk and bake for 20 min. 180 C
serve with pandan meringue or Blackberry compote

Basic Recipe
My Idea just using basic recipe, (200 base or 225 base) if I said 225 base it means 225 g. caster sugar, 225 g. butter, 225 g. self raising flour, 3 eggs and 2 egg yolks. a 100 gram of walnuts (seems a lot), coffee (1 espresso shot), glace Ginger, Lemongrass extract.
When I showed the picture of the cake
to my mother (BB messenger.. booo),

Is that me, or is that the Indonesian vanilla pods that my mother sent it to me.. you need put extra vanilla pods to make sure you can taste vanilla custard. Nutmeg still in its shell so.. tangy.. bitter sweet.. Sugar?? for me less much better
